V. D. Satheesan is an Indian politician from the Indian National Congress serving as Leader of the Opposition in the 15th Kerala Legislative Assembly. He succeeds Mr. Ramesh Chennithala as the leader of opposition. He represents Paravur constituency in Ernakulam district. He also serves as the vice president of Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee.
