Romnick Sarmenta

Romeo Nicolas Sarmenta Tejedor, known professionally as Romnick Sarmenta, is a Filipino actor, film producer and professor. He is popularly recognized as one of the “country's formidable actors” and prominent matinee idols from the 80s to 90s. In a career spanning 46 years, he has already starred in over 60 films throughout his career, from fantasy, romance, horror, drama, to action. He is a recipient of the prestigious Asian Television Awards in 1999, notably won "Best Actor" for his performance in About Us But Not About Us at the first summer Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) Gabi ng Parangal and has received various nominations from FAMAS and Gawad Urian Awards.
