On August 10, 2006, Christopher Porco was convicted of second-degree murder and second-degree attempted murder in connection with the murder of his father, Peter Porco, and the severe wounding and disfigurement of his mother, Joan Porco. The crimes were committed on November 15, 2004 at the home of Peter and Joan Porco in Delmar, New York.
