Kanagaratnam Shanmugaratnam
Kanagaratnam Shanmugaratnam was a renowned Singaporean pathologist. Hailed as Singapore's "father of pathology" and best known for establishing the Singapore Cancer Registry (SCR) in 1967, Shanmugaratnam was also a world-leading expert on nasopharyngeal carcinoma. He died on 28 July 2018, aged 97, at his home in Singapore.
