He has made sporadic appearances for the Indian cricket team. He also played for Chennai Super Kings from 2008-2012.He was the member of the 2007 inaugural ICC T20 World Cup Champions Indian team & was part of the 2 IPL winning CSK team. He is currently serving as a police officer in Haryana.
