Bill McCay
Bill McCay is an American author and has written over seventy books in total. He has written five books for the Stargate franchise. His first Stargate book was released in 1995, two years before the premiere of Stargate SG-1. Because of this, it does not fit with SG-1 or the other Stargate spin offs.
