Ng Chee Meng is a former Singaporean politician and former Chief of Defence Force of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF). A member of the governing People's Action Party (PAP), he was appointed as the Secretary-General of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) since 1 May 2018 by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. However, he was not elected after losing the 2020 general election in Sengkang GRC. He was elected as the People's Action Party Central Executive Committee member despite losing his Member of Parliament seat after being voted out by the people of Sengkang GRC.
