Lilly Steinschneider, fully Lilly Helene Steinschneider-Wenckheim was a Hungarian pilot, the first qualified female pilot in the Austro-Hungarian empire. Karl Illner was her master. Moritz Steinschneider fue un bibliógrafo y orientalista bohemio. Recibió su primera instrucción en hebreo de su padre, Jacob Steinschneider (1782-1856), que no solo era un talmudista experto, sino que también era versado en la ciencia secular.
