Emir Omar Chabán fue un empresario argentino, actor y difusor del rock en ese país, cuyo nombre se hizo conocido internacionalmente tras la tragedia de la discoteca República Cromañón, en Buenos Aires, causada por un incendio que comenzó la noche del 30 de diciembre de 2004, durante un recital de la banda de rock Callejeros. Este incendio provocó una de las mayores tragedias no naturales en Argentina, causando la muerte de 194 personas y dejando al menos 1432 heridos. Chabán era el gerente y la cara visible del local, donde se realizaban regularmente conciertos de rock.
