Abd Allah ibn Abd al-Muttalib fue el padre del profeta islámico Mahoma. Era hijo de Abd al-Muttalib y estuvo casado con Amina bint Wahb. Asimismo, era nieto de Hashim ibn Abd Manaf, hijo de Abd Manaf, que da nombre al clan de los hachemíes, rama de la tribu de Quraysh.

Bilal ibn Rabah también conocido como Bilal al-Habashi, Bilal ibn Riyah, e Ibn Rabah, fue uno de más confiables y leales Sahaba (compañeros) del profeta islámico Mahoma. Nació en Meca y está considerado como el primer muecín, escogido por Mahoma personalmente. Es reconocido por su hermosa voz con la que llamaba a las personas a las oraciones. Murió en 640, a la edad de 60 años.

He was also a faculty member of the Department of Tafsir in the Faculty of the Holy Qur'an and Islamic Studies at the Islamic University of Madinah and a member of the Scholarly Committee of the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran. His death occurred on 16 April 2016.
