Willibald Pirckheimer fue un abogado alemán renacentista, autor y humanista, importante figura en la Núremberg del siglo XVI, y miembro del gobierno de la ciudad durante dos períodos. Fue amigo íntimo del artista Alberto Durero, el cual lo pintó en numerosos retratos, también fue amigo del gran humanista y teólogo Erasmo de Róterdam.

Willibald "Willi" Ruttensteiner is an Austrian businessman and football administrator and manager who currently serves as head coach of the Israel national team as well as the head of the youth development program "Project12". Following the resignation of Dietmar Constantini in September 2011, Ruttensteiner was acting trainer of the Austria national football team for two games. In the two games he managed a win and a tie. He was also responsible for the signing of national coach Marcel Koller, who was controversial in the beginning and later very successful.

Willibald Imhoff was an art collector of the famous Nuremberg Imhoff family, and the grandson of Willibald Pirckheimer. He was a wealthy partner in the Imhoff trading company. In his youth, Imhoff stayed in his family's trading offices in Lyon and Antwerp to learn wholesale and long-distance trade. In 1540-42 he traveled to France and then to 1544 Spain. In 1545 he married Anna Harsdörffer (1528-1601), daughter of Wolff Harsdörffer and Ehrentraud Welser. Even after that he regularly made trips to Lyon and Zaragoza as a partner of the trading company.
