Takao Ochi is a Japanese politician of the Liberal Democratic Party, a member of the House of Representatives in the Diet. A native of Setagaya, Tokyo, he graduated from Keio University with a degree in economics in March 1986 and from École Supérieure des Sciences Économiques et Commerciales in France in June 1991. He also received a master's degree in the history of foreign affairs in Japanese politics from the University of Tokyo in March 2005.
