Segismundo de Bayreuth
Segismundo de Brandeburgo-Bayreuth fue el sexto hijo, aunque el tercero sobreviviente, del Margrave Alberto III de Brandeburgo, Ansbach y Bayreuth. Su madre fue la segunda esposa de su padre, Ana de Sajonia. A la muerte de su padre el 11 de marzo de 1486, sus hermanos mayores Juan Cicerón y Federico sucedieron en Brandeburgo y Ansbach respectivamente, y Segismundo sucedió en Bayreuth. Nunca contrajo matrimonio, y a su muerte Bayreuth pasó a su hermano mayor Federico I de Ansbach.
Siegmund August Wolfgang von Herder
August von Herder was a German geologist and mineralogist. From 1813 he served in a succession of increasingly senior posts in the Saxon government mines service, ending up in 1826 as government mining director ("Berghauptmann"). He was an energetic and highly effective moderniser of the Saxon mining industry.
