He is the first and last Minister to the office with this name, as it was renamed to Ministry of Human Resources on 14 May 2012 with Zoltán Balog taking over as Réthelyi's successor.

Miklós Beer is a Hungarian prelate of the Catholic Church. He was Bishop of Vác 2003 to 2019. He previously served as auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Esztergom-Budapest from 2000 to 2003.
