Mehmed Ferid Pasha
Mehmed Ferid Bajá fue un político otomano de origen albanés. Fue gran visir del Imperio otomano del 15 de enero de 1903 hasta el 22 de julio de 1908, cuando el sultán restauró la Constitución de 1876 tras la Revolución de los Jóvenes Turcos. Además del turco otomano hablaba albanés, árabe, francés, italiano y griego.

Mehmed Rushdi Pasha
Mehmed Rushdi Pasha was an Ottoman reformist and statesman. He served as Grand Vizier of the Ottoman Empire during five separate terms. He was preceded by Midhat Pasha. Mehmed Rushdi Pasha was a fervent supporter of the Tanzimat. He believed that the empire would lag behind the West if no attempt was made to modernize itself. He served as a Translator of Military texts as well as a military colonel in his youth. He was born in 1811, and died on 27 March 1882.

His first reign was uneventful, except for the recapture of Azov from the Cossacks. His second reign was spent fighting Russians and Cossacks in alliance with Poland. He had some reputation as a poet.
