Malcolm Webster
Malcolm Webster is an English former professional footballer who made 449 appearances in the Football League playing as a goalkeeper for Arsenal, Fulham, Southend United and Cambridge United. At Arsenal he contributed to their victory in the 1969–70 Inter-Cities Fairs Cup by making one appearance in the cup run. He was assistant manager to Chris Turner at Cambridge United between 1986 and 1988 before taking a break from football. He then became a goalkeeping coach, and has worked for clubs including Norwich City, Colchester United, Ipswich Town, Heart of Midlothian, Southampton and Crystal Palace, and also runs a goalkeeping school with business partner, Bolton Wanderers goalkeeping coach, Fred Barber.

His novels are often set in Asia, and have been praised for their cultural and historical information relating to the character's adventures. Bosse mostly wrote historical fiction novels after the publication of The Warlord, which became a best-seller. The Warlord was set in China in the 1920s. He also won the Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis in 1983.

Malcolm Routh Jameson, commonly known as Malcolm Jameson, was an American science fiction author. An officer in the US Navy, he was active in American pulp magazines during the Golden Age of Science Fiction. His writing career began when complications of throat cancer limited his activity. According to John W. Campbell Jr., Jameson "had much to do with the development of modern [c.1945] naval ordnance."
