Lester Holt
Lester Don Holt Jr. is an American journalist and news anchor for the weekday edition of NBC Nightly News and Dateline NBC. On June 18, 2015, Holt was made the permanent anchor of NBC Nightly News following the demotion of Brian Williams. Holt followed in the career footsteps of Max Robinson an ABC News evening co-anchor and Holt became the first African-American to solo anchor a weekday network nightly newscast.

Lester Keith Piggott is a retired English professional jockey. With 4,493 career wins, including nine Epsom Derby victories, he is widely regarded as one of the greatest flat racing jockeys of all time and the originator of a much imitated style. Popularly known as "The Long Fellow" he was known for his competitive personality, keeping himself thirty pounds under his natural weight, and on occasion not sparing the whip on horses such as Roberto in the 1972 Derby. Piggott regarded Sir Ivor as the easiest to ride of the great winners.

Lester Lee was an American composer. He was nominated for an Academy Award in the category Best Original Song for the film Miss Sadie Thompson. Lee was also well known as the co-writer of "Pennsylvania Polka". Lee died in June 1956 of a heart attack in Los Angeles, California, at the age of 52.
