Christopher Samuel "Kit" Bond es un abogado, político y exsenador estadounidense por Misuri y miembro del Partido Republicano. Elegido por primera vez para el Senado de Estados Unidos en 1986, derrotó a la demócrata Harriett Woods por un margen de 53%-47%. Fue reelegido en 1992, 1998 y 2004. El 8 de enero de 2009, anunció que no se presentaría a la reelección para un quinto mandato en 2010, y fue sucedido por su compañero republicano Roy Blunt el 3 de enero de 2011. Kit Fine is a British philosopher, currently University Professor and Silver Professor of Philosophy and Mathematics at New York University. Prior to joining NYU in 1997, he taught at the University of Edinburgh, University of California, Irvine, University of Michigan and UCLA. The author of several books and dozens of articles in international academic journals, he has made notable contributions to the fields of philosophical logic, metaphysics, and the philosophy of language and also has written on ancient philosophy, in particular on Aristotle's account of logic and modality.

Christopher Lynn "Kit" Bakke is a U.S. activist. In the 1960s, she actively fought for women's rights and civil rights and she protested the Vietnam War. In college, she helped to establish a new chapter of the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS). Later, she became a member of the Weathermen, also called the Weather Underground, a militant leftist group. After leaving the Weather Underground, Bakke moved to Seattle, Washington. In Seattle, Bakke became a mother and worked as a nurse for many years. In 2006, her bio-memoir Miss Alcott's E-mail was published.
