She is the founding chairwoman of Doğan Online Group Companies, the largest online corporation in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and is the founder and chairperson of the e-commerce platform Hepsiburada.com, often called the “The Amazon of the East. In July 2019, Forbes called her “one of the most successful women tech entrepreneurs in the world,” and Fortune Turkey has credited her with leading the country’s digital transformation.

Hanzade Sultan fue una princesa otomana, hija del sultán Ahmed I y Kösem Sultan, aunque según una conjetura era hija de Mahfiruz Hatun. Ella era la hermana de Osman II, Murad IV e Ibrahim I, también era sobrina de Mustafa I.

Hanzade Sultan was an Ottoman princess, the daughter of Şehzade Ömer Faruk, the son of last caliph of the Abdulmejid II and Şehsuvar Hanım. Her mother was Sabiha Sultan, daughter of Sultan Mehmed VI and Nazikeda Kadın.
