Friedrich Klingner
Friedrich Klingner was a German Classical Philologist. He worked at increasingly senior levels as a university professor, successively at the universities of Hamburg (1925–1930), Leipzig (1930–1947) and Munich (1947–1963). Viewed by admirers as one of the leading latinists of his generation, he advanced the study of Latin literature, producing important studies of Sallust, Virgil, Horace and Tibullus which continue to engage scholars.

Friedrich Wilhelm Freiherr von Erdmannsdorff was a German architect and architectural theoretician, and one of the most significant representatives of early German Neoclassicism during the Age of Enlightenment. His work included Wörlitz Palace in the present-day Dessau-Wörlitz Garden Realm, one of the earliest Palladian buildings on the European continent. His most well-known student was Friedrich Gilly, the teacher of Karl Friedrich Schinkel.

Friedrich Krebs was the mayor of Frankfurt, Germany from 1933 to 1945. In March 1933, Krebs, a fervent anti-Semite and Nazi, ousted the previous mayor, Ludwig Landmann, who was Jewish. Within two weeks Krebs fired all Jewish city employees, even before the German Law for the Restoration of the Professional Civil Service removed Jews from government service.
