Fang Fenghui is a former top general in the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA). He served as the Chief of Joint Staff and a member of the Central Military Commission. He was placed under investigation for corruption in 2017 and subsequently convicted.

In 2019, due to the security fund incident, Fang Zhouzi’s fraud associate Peng Jian lost both cases in the domestic finals. The verdict has been inquired, and the court ruled that Peng Jian will refund 3.1 million donations and interest.

Chen Mei-ling, better known by her stage name Fang Wenlin, is a Taiwanese singer and actress. In the 1980s she was part of the popular girl group Feiying Trio (飛鷹三姝) with Annie Yi and Donna Chiu.

Fang Zheng is a former student protester who was seriously injured during the Tiananmen Square protests of 1989. During the evacuation of the Square in the early morning of June 4, Fang was run over by a People’s Liberation Army tank, which led to the amputation of both his legs.
