Eknath Khadse is a politician and senior leader of the Nationalist Congress Party in Maharashtra state. He was a Member of Legislative Assembly of Maharashtra from Muktainagar constituency for six consecutive terms till 2019. He was a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party from 1987 until his resignation in October 2020.

Eknath Shinde is the Cabinet Minister of Urban Development and Public Works in Government Of Maharashtra. He is current Member of Legislative Assembly from Kopri-Pachpakhadi constituency of Thane, Maharashtra, India as a member of Shiv Sena. He has been elected consecutively for 4 terms in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly for 2004, 2009, 2014 & 2019.
