Diarmuid Mac Murchadha Caomhánach, fue un rey irlandés de la provincia de Leinster que ha pasado a la historia como el traidor más notorio de la historia de Irlanda. Tras ser expulsado de su trono por el «Rey Supremo» Rory O'Connor, huyó primero hacia Bristol, donde se refugió durante un tiempo, para luego dirigirse a Normandía, desde donde solicitó ayuda a Enrique II para recuperar su reino. La posterior invasión convirtió a Enrique en Señor de Irlanda, y dio comienzo a un período de dominación inglesa que llegaría hasta el siglo XX.

Diarmait mac Cerbaill fue Rey de Tara o Rey Supremo de Irlanda. Según las tradiciones, fue el último Rey Supremo en seguir los rituales paganos de inauguración, los ban-feis o matrimonio con la diosa de la tierra.

Diarmait fue el hijo de Áed Sláine. Según los anales irlandeses, fue Rey Supremo de Irlanda.

Diarmait Dian mac Airmetaig, also Diarmait Guthbinn, was King of Uisnech in Mide of the Clann Cholmáin. He was the grandson of Conall Guthbinn mac Suibni, a previous king. His father Airmetach Cáech was slain at the Battle of Mag Rath in 637. Diarmait ruled from 653 to 689.

Diarmait mac Conaing was a King of Brega from the Uí Chonaing sept of Cnogba (Knowth) of the Síl nÁedo Sláine branch of the southern Ui Neill. He was the son of Conaing mac Amalgado and brother of Congalach mac Conaing, previous kings. He ruled from 778 to 786.
