Aristobulus IV was a prince of Judea from the Herodian dynasty, and was married to his cousin, Berenice, daughter of Costobarus and Salome I. He was the son of Herod the Great and his second wife, Mariamne I, the last of the Hasmoneans, and was thus a descendant of the Hasmonean Dynasty.

Aristobulus Minor or Aristobulus the Younger was a prince from the Herodian Dynasty. He was of Jewish, Nabataean and Edomite ancestry.

Aristobulus of Chalcis was a son of Herod of Chalcis and his first wife Mariamne. Herod of Chalcis, ruler of Chalcis in Iturea, was a grandson of Herod the Great through his father, Aristobulus IV. Mariamne was a granddaughter of Herod the Great through her mother, Olympias; hence Aristobulus was a great-grandson of Herod the Great on both sides of his family.

Aristóbulo I, rey y sumo sacerdote de los judíos, de la dinastía de los asmoneos, hijo y sucesor de Juan Hircano, reinó solo un año entre 104 a. C. y 103 a. C., habiendo sido el primero en la familia asmonea en asumir el título real.

Aristóbulo III (53–36 a. C.) fue el último descendiente de la casa real asmonea, hermano de Mariamna, la esposa de Herodes I el Grande, y nieto por vía paterna de Aristóbulo II. Fue favorito del pueblo por su ascendencia noble y hermosa presencia, y por ello se convirtió en objeto de temor para Herodes, que al principio trató de ignorarle enteramente, vetándole para el sumo sacerdocio. Pero su madre Alejandra Macabeo, a través de la intercesión con Cleopatra y Marco Antonio, obligó a Herodes a quitar a Hananel del cargo de sumo sacerdote y nombrar a Aristóbulo en su lugar.
