Ammar Souayah is a retired Tunisian footballer who is the manager of Ohod.

Ammar Campa-Najjar is an American politician and former official at the United States Department of Labor. Campa-Najjar has twice been a candidate for the United States House of Representatives. He lost in the 2018 election against incumbent Duncan D. Hunter. Campa-Najjar lost again in a 2020 campaign to represent California's 50th congressional district, which encompasses the northeastern segments of San Diego County, and a small section of Riverside County. He was the first Latino-Arab American to run for Congress.

Muslims consider Ammar's ultimate fate to be unique among the fates of Muhammad's companions, for they perceive his death at the battle of Siffin as the decisive distinguisher between the righteous group and the sinful one in the First Fitna.
