Zhang Yong is a Singaporean Chinese billionaire who is the founder of the Haidilao International Holding Ltd restaurant group, best known for its Hai Di Lao chain of hot pot restaurants. At the end of 2018, Haidilao Hot Pot had 466 direct-operated stores in operation in more than a hundred cities. Zhang also holds majority stake in Haidilao Catering, Hai Di Lao International Holding and Yihai International.

Feng Yong was a Chinese educator, military leader and politician. The eldest son of the warlord Feng Delin, Feng Yong was a member of the Standing Committee of the Northeast Administrative Committee. Feng and Zhang Xueliang were born in the same year and grew up together. Theirs fathers were both strong warlords. Ban Yong, courtesy name Yiliao (宜僚), was the youngest son of the famous Chinese General, Ban Chao, and the nephew of the illustrious historian, Ban Gu who compiled the Book of Han, the dynastic history of the Former Han dynasty.
