Peter Weibel was a German cyclist. He competed for West Germany at the 1972 Summer Olympics and the 1976 Summer Olympics.

Peter Weibel es un artista austriaco conocido internacionalmente como post-artista conceptual, curator y teórico sobre nuevos medios. Empezó en 1964 como poeta visual pero pronto se dedicó al lenguaje tecnológico con metodología estructuralista. Gracias a esta incursión lingüística en sus trabajos de medios de comunicación visuales, Weibel desarrolló su impulso crítico que giró en torno a los medios de comunicación, e investigó sobre la realidad virtual y otras formas de arte digitales. Desde 1999 ha sido director del Centro ZKM para Arte y Medios de comunicación Karlsruhe en Alemania.

Ewald R. Weibel HonFRMS was a Swiss biologist and former director of the Institute of Anatomy at the University of Bern. He was one of the first scientists to describe the endothelial organelles Weibel–Palade bodies, which are named after him and his Romanian American colleague George Emil Palade.

Lars Weibel is a retired Swiss ice hockey goaltender who played for several teams in the Swiss National League A. He also represented the Switzerland men's national ice hockey team on several occasions in the World Junior Championships, World Championships and Olympics.
