Friedrich Paulus
Friedrich Wilhelm Ernst Paulus fue un general alemán durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Tuvo a su cargo el sexto ejército alemán y dirigió la frustrada invasión alemana a la ciudad soviética de Stalingrado. Fue ascendido por Adolf Hitler a mariscal de campo para que no se rindiera, ya que ningún mariscal se había rendido nunca en la historia alemana. Pero luego de meses de resistencia y tras la muerte de la mayor parte de su ejército, cercado totalmente, enfermo, sin provisiones y en pleno invierno ruso, se rindió ante los soviéticos, finalizando así la batalla más sangrienta de la historia de la humanidad y que marcaría el fin del avance alemán en el Este y el primer revés que marcaría la futura victoria Aliada.
Caroline von Paulus
Caroline Von Paulus is a French actress, fashion model and singer, better known by her stage name Bambou. She was the partner of the French singer Serge Gainsbourg from 1981 until his death in 1991, although they were not married. Their son Lucien 'Lulu' Gainsbourg was born in 1986.
Norma Paulus
Norma Jean Paulus was an American lawyer and politician in the state of Oregon. A native of Nebraska, she was raised in Eastern Oregon before becoming a lawyer. A Republican, she first held political office as a representative in the Oregon House of Representatives, and then became the first woman elected to statewide public office in Oregon when she became Oregon Secretary of State in 1977. Paulus later served as Oregon Superintendent of Public Instruction for nine years. She made unsuccessful bids to become Governor of Oregon and United States Senator. Prior to her death on February 28, 2019, Paulus lived in Portland, where she was involved with several non-profit groups and sponsored a ballot measure to create open primaries in Oregon's statewide elections.

Käthe Paulus
Katharina “Käthe” Paulus was a German exhibition parachute jumper and the inventor of the first collapsable parachute. At the time, the parachute was named, 'rescue apparatus for aeronauts' in 1910. The previous parachutes were not able to fit in a case like apparatus worn on the back, thus Paulus' invention became of paramount importance for the Germans in World War I and she produced about 7000 parachutes for the German forces. During World War I Paulus created approximately 125 parachutes a week. Paulus was also credited with inventing the drag 'chute, an intentional breakaway system where one small parachute opens to pull out the main parachute.
