Donnell Claragh O'Neill, was a member of the O'Neill Dynasty of Tír Eoghain, Ulster in medieval Ireland. He was the son of Con O'Neill, and a half-brother to Henry Oge O'Neill. He succeeded Henry as chief of the O'Neills, and ruled from 1498-1509. He was in turn succeeded by a cousin Art O'Neill.

John Rea Neill was a magazine and children's book illustrator primarily known for illustrating more than forty stories set in the Land of Oz, including L. Frank Baum's, Ruth Plumly Thompson's, and three of his own. His pen-and-ink drawings have become identified almost exclusively with the Oz series. Cathal mac Néill or Cathal Cerr or Cathal Corc was a king of Southern Brega at Lagore. He belonged to the Uí Chernaig sept of the Síl nÁedo Sláine branch of the southern Uí Néill. He was the son of Niall mac Cernaig Sotal and great-grandson of the high king Diarmait mac Áedo Sláine. He ruled the Uí Chernaig from 724-729 succeeding his brother the high king Fogartach mac Néill.
