Theodore John Kaczynski [kaˈtʂɨɲskʲi], también conocido con el sobrenombre de Unabomber, es un matemático, filósofo, neoludita y terrorista estadounidense conocido por enviar cartas bomba motivado e influido por su análisis crítico del desarrollo de la sociedad contemporánea, análisis en el que hace un especial énfasis en las consecuencias perjudiciales que trajo consigo el desarrollo tecnológico de las sociedades humanas posterior a la Revolución industrial. Reflejó sus análisis y reflexiones neoludistas en un extenso manifiesto bautizado como La sociedad industrial y su futuro, conocido también por los medios de comunicación de la época como El Manifiesto del Unabomber. Dicho manifiesto fue firmado con el seudónimo de Freedom Club o F.C.

He became well known in 2011 by posting old video clips of politicians, often of them making statements contrary to their current political positions, to YouTube. He was described as "the [2012] Republican primaries' most influential amateur opposition researcher".

David Kaczynski is the younger brother of Ted Kaczynski, the serial bomber dubbed the "Unabomber" by the FBI before his arrest in 1996. His memoir, Every Last Tie: The Story of the Unabomber and His Family, details his relationship with his brother and parents and the decision that David and his wife made to share their suspicion that Ted was the Unabomber with law enforcement, which led to his arrest.
