Myntha Elisabeth of Cleves was the daughter of the Duke of Cleves - Adolf III of the Marck and Margaret of Jülich. She married Reginald of Falkenburg in 1393, who died in 1396. In 1401, she started a new marriage with the Duke of Bavaria but had no children.

Otto was Count of Cleves from 1305 through 1310.

Johann was last Count of Cleves, from 1347 through 1368. Upon his death in 1368, the counties of Cleves and Count of Mark were united.

Adelaide of Cleves, also known as Aleid and Adelheid was, by her marriage to Dirk VII, Countess of Holland. She played an important role in the administration during the reign of her husband, during which she served as regent in 1195, and facilitated the marriage and accession of their daughter Ada amid dynastic disputes in 1203.

Philip of Cleves was a son of John I, duke of Cleves, and Elizabeth of Nevers. After several minor ecclesiastical posts, Philip was bishop of Nevers from 1500 until his death. He was also bishop of Amiens from 1501 to 1503 and in 1505 he was bishop of Autun for a short time.
