Simon Nora
Simon Nora was a French official who served in several French cabinets and was the Inspecteur-general in the Ministry of Finance. He was asked by President Valéry Giscard d'Estaing to write on the impact of the new communications technology on France. The report, The Computerization of Society appeared in 1978 and became a best-seller in France. The report was one of the first to propose an information highway, one result of which was the Minitel program.

Matta El Meskeen
Father Matta El Meskeen or Matthew the Poor, born Youssef Iskandar was a Copt Coptic Orthodox monk. He was the key figure in the revival of Coptic monasticism which began in 1969 when he was appointed to the Monastery of St Macarius in the Wadi El Natrun in Egypt. By the time of his death the community had grown from 6 aged monks to 130 monks, and as many other monasteries were revived, new ones also began to open. He was twice nominated to become Coptic Pope, but was not chosen in either case.

Peter Shand Kydd was the stepfather of Diana, Princess of Wales, and an heir to the wallpaper fortune built by his father Norman Shand Kydd (1895–1962). His mother was Francis Madalein Foy. He was half-brother to champion amateur jockey William Shand Kydd (1937–2014), who was the husband of Christina Muriel Duncan, sister of Veronica Bingham, Countess of Lucan.

Karl Gunnar Vougt Pontus Hultén was a Swedish art collector and museum director. Pontus Hultén is regarded as one of the most distinguished museum professionals of the twentieth century. He was the pioneering former head of the Museum for modern art in Stockholm and in the 1970s he was invited to participate in the creation of the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris, where he was its first director in 1974–1981.

Bernie Geoffrion
Joseph Bernard André Geoffrion, nicknamed Boom Boom, was a Canadian professional ice hockey player and coach. Generally considered as one of the innovators of the slapshot, he was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1972 following a 16-year career with the Montreal Canadiens and New York Rangers of the National Hockey League. In 2017 Geoffrion was named one of the '100 Greatest NHL Players' in history.
