Allen Lee Davis
Allen Lee Davis was an American mass murderer who was executed for the May 11, 1982, murder of Nancy Weiler, who was three months pregnant, in Jacksonville, Florida. According to reports, Nancy Weiler was "beaten almost beyond recognition" by Davis with a .357 Magnum, and hit more than 25 times in the face and head. He was also convicted of killing Nancy Weiler's two daughters, Kristina, age 10, who was shot twice in the face, and Katherine, age 5, who was shot as she tried to run away and then had her skull beaten in with the gun. Davis was on parole for armed robbery at the time of the murders.
Sir Anthony Thorold, 15th Baronet
Captain Sir Anthony Henry Thorold, 15th Baronet, was an English Royal Navy officer, public servant, and councillor. He served as Captain of HMS Dryad from 1951 to 1952, and was Commodore in Charge, Hong Kong, from 1953 to 1955. After retirement, he turned to public service and politics, serving as High Sheriff of Lincolnshire for 1968 and as Leader of Lincolnshire County Council from 1973 to 1981.
