Linus Pauling
Linus Carl Pauling fue un químico, bioquímico y activista estadounidense. Él mismo se consideraba cristalógrafo, biólogo molecular e investigador médico. Fue uno de los primeros químicos cuánticos, y recibió el Premio Nobel de Química en 1954, por su trabajo en el que describía los enlaces químicos. Pauling es, hasta ahora, una de las pocas personas que han recibido el Premio Nobel en más de una ocasión, y las dos veces de manera individual, ya que también recibió el Premio Nobel de la Paz en 1962, por su campaña contra las pruebas nucleares terrestres.

George Metesky
George Peter Metesky, better known as the Mad Bomber, was an American electrician and mechanic who terrorized New York City for 16 years in the 1940s and 1950s with explosives that he planted in theaters, terminals, libraries and offices. Bombs were left in phone booths, storage lockers and restrooms in public buildings, including Grand Central Terminal, Pennsylvania Station, Radio City Music Hall, the New York Public Library, the Port Authority Bus Terminal and the RCA Building, and in the New York City Subway. Metesky also bombed movie theaters, where he cut into seat upholstery and slipped his explosive devices inside.
Major Lance
Major Lance was an American R&B singer. After a number of US hits in the 1960s, including "The Monkey Time" and "Um, Um, Um, Um, Um, Um", he became an iconic figure in Britain in the 1970s among followers of Northern Soul. Although he stopped making records in 1982, Major Lance continued to perform at concerts and on tours until his death in 1994. His daughter, Keisha Lance Bottoms, is the current mayor of Atlanta.
