Luis Andrés Caicedo Estela fue un escritor colombiano. Lideró diferentes movimientos culturales en la ciudad vallecaucana como el grupo literario Los Dialogantes, su gusto por el cine lo llevó a fundar, en 1971, con otros amigos, el Cine-Club de Cali, y la revista Ojo al Cine. En 1970 ganó el I Concurso Literario de Cuento de Caracas con su obra «Los dientes de caperucita», lo que le abriría las puertas a un reconocimiento intelectual. Se suicidó a los 25 años. Su principal obra es ¡Que viva la música!.

Heinrich Bleichrodt was one of the most successful German U-boat commanders of the Second World War. From October 1939 until retiring from front line service in December 1943, he was credited with sinking 25 ships for a total of 152,320 gross register tons (GRT). For this he received the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves, among other commendations. He earned the nickname "Ajax" during his time with the U-boats.

Johannes Hassebroek was a German SS commander during the Nazi era. He served as a commandant of the Gross-Rosen concentration camp and its sub-camps from October 1943 till the end of the war. Hassebroek was tried for his crimes by the British occupational authorities, convicted to life imprisonment, and released in 1954. The later prosecution by the West German authorities proved unsuccessful.
