Johnson Thomas Umunnakwe Aguiyi-Ironsi fue un militar nigeriano y el segundo Presidente de Nigeria de la historia de ese país, cuando tomó el poder en el caos que siguió el primer golpe militar en Nigeria, desde el 16 de enero al 29 de julio de 1966, cuando fue asesinado por un grupo rebelde.

Otto Karhi was the first Chairman of Centre Party, then the League of the Rural People of Finland from 1906 to 1908. He was a member of the Parliament of Finland from 1907 to 1908 and again from 1909 to 1913 from Oulu southern electoral district. He quit the Agrarian League in 1914 and stayed passive politically some years. Karhi was born and died in Oulu. In 1918 he was elected to the city council of Oulu as a representative of the Social Democratic Party of Finland and became re-elected until 1964.

Theodore Francis Green was an American politician from Rhode Island. A Democrat, Green served as the 57th Governor of Rhode Island (1933–1937) and in the United States Senate (1937–1961). He was a wealthy aristocratic Yankee from an old family who was a strong supporter of Wilsonian internationalism during the Democratic administrations of Franklin Roosevelt and Harry Truman (1933–53). He served as chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee from 1957 to 1959. At the time of his retirement in 1961, he set the record at age 93 of the oldest person to serve in the Senate; the record was subsequently broken by Strom Thurmond.
