Heinrich Adolf Wild von Hohenborn was a German officier of the Prussian Army, Generalleutnant during the First World War. From 21 January 1915 to 29 October 1916 he also served as minister of war. He retired 3 November 1919 with the rank of General der Infanterie.

Captain Robert St Leger Fowler MC was an Irish first-class cricketer, often regarded as the best Irish cricketer not to have represented Ireland itself. Fowler was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm off break. He is perhaps best known for his outstanding all round performance as captain of Eton College in the match against Harrow in 1910, the match commonly referred to as Fowler's match.

Charles Albert Waltner, aka C. A. Waltner, was a French artist and etcher, born March 23 or 24, 1846 in Paris and died June 15, 1925, in the same city. His father, Charles Jules Waltner, was also a French artist and etcher who engraved religious subjects for specialized publishers from 1848. Waltner studied painting under the guidance of Jean-Léon Gérôme and Léon Bonnat. Later he was taught by Henriquel-Dupont in the art of copper cutting and etching.
