Es iniciadora de la campaña "No es hora de callar" que denuncia la violencia sexual y reclama a las sobrevivientes que alcen la voz contra la violencia de género. Ella misma en el año 2000 fue víctima de secuestro, tortura y violación sexual por parte de paramilitares cuando realizaba un reportaje en la Cárcel La Modelo de Bogotá. La fecha en la que ella fue secuestrada y agredida sexualmente, el 25 de mayo, fue declarada en agosto de 2014 con un decreto presidencial Día Nacional por la Dignidad de las Mujeres Víctimas de Violencia sexual en el Contexto del Conflicto Armado Interno. En la actualidad es subdirectora del diario El Tiempo. En 2020 recibió el Premio Mundial de Libertad de Prensa Unesco-Guillermo Cano.

Sam Poo was a Chinese bushranger in Australia who was active in New South Wales during early 1865. Poo emigrated to Australia in the early 1860s during the gold rush. Being an unsuccessful miner, he turned to bushranging. He robbed travellers on the Gulgong–Mudgee for several weeks. On 3 February 1865, Poo killed Senior Constable John Ward, who was looking for him. After the murder of Ward, the New South Wales Police organised a large-scale manhunt, which lasted two weeks and resulted in Poo being arrested and seriously injured during his arrest.

Ii Naochika was a Japanese samurai of the Sengoku period, who served the Imagawa clan. It was planned that he would marry Ii Naomori's daughter Naotora but then he fled to Shinano, to avoid committing suicide caused by slander from an Imagawa retainer. Later he went back to Imagawa, now newly married. Once again he was slandered and was eventually executed by Imagawa Ujizane. It's said that he was killed by a cause of anonymous report of Ono Michiyoshi. His childhood name was Kamenojo (亀之丞).
