Jaime Vicens Vives, en catalán Jaume Vicens Vives, fue un historiador y maestro de historiadores español. Tras la presentación de su tesis doctoral en febrero de 1936, su área de estudio se centró en la Cataluña de la Baja Edad Media, para acabar siendo considerado como principal autoridad en la historia económica y social, lo que en los primeros años del franquismo era una excepción dentro del panorama de la universidad española, en un momento en que parte de los intelectuales estaban en el exilio.

He was influenced by Michael Snow and Peter Kubelka followed by Vittorio Storaro, Sven Nykvist and Vilmos Zsigmond. Zeitlinger's films have received considerable critical acclaim and achieved popularity on the art house circuit. He is represented by the Gersh Agency and is a member of the German Film Academy. Peter Zeitlinger is Professor of Cinematography at the University of Television and Film Munich. He lives in Premariacco, Friuli, Italy.
