Maurizio Bevilacqua is an Italian-Canadian politician, currently serving as mayor of Vaughan, Ontario. He was a Liberal Member of Parliament from 1988 to 2010 and was one of eleven candidates for the leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada but dropped out of the race on August 14, 2006. He has been described in the media as a "right-of-centre, business friendly Liberal".

William Charles Skurla is the Primate of the Ruthenian Greek Catholic Church and the Metropolitan Archeparch or Archbishop of the Ruthenian Catholic Archeparchy of Pittsburgh. He succeeded Archbishop Basil Myron Schott, who died in August 2010 of lymphoma. Skurla was appointed on January 19, 2012 by Pope Benedict XVI as metropolitan, and enthroned in a Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Munhall, Pennsylvania on April 18, 2012.
