Lars Johan Hierta was a Swedish newspaper publisher, social critic, businessman and politician. He is best known as the founder of the newspaper Aftonbladet in 1830. Hierta was a leading agitator for political and social reform in Sweden during the 19th century. He is sometimes credited as the "father of the free press" in Sweden.

Edvard Hugo Stenbeck was a Swedish lawyer and founder of Investment AB Kinnevik. He belonged to a group called in to investigate the collapse of Ivar Kreuger's financial empire. Two of his children became famous in their own right – Jan Stenbeck took over and transformed the family company and Margaretha af Ugglas became foreign minister. His granddaughter, Cristina Stenbeck is now in charge of the family companies.

Hijo del rey Erik Anundsson y padre de Erico el Victorioso y Olof II de Suecia. Landnámabók cita que Erik y su hijo Björn gobernaron durante el papado de Adriano II y Juan VIII, periodo que comprende entre el 867 y 883, periodo de los primeros asentamientos en Islandia. La saga del rey Harald menciona que su padre Erik murió cuando el rey contemporáneo Harald I de Noruega llevaba gobernando diez años, por lo tanto Björn III comenzó su reinado hacia el año 882.

Bruno Andreas Liljefors was a Swedish artist. He is perhaps best known for his nature and animal motifs, especially with dramatic situations. He was the most important and probably most influential Swedish wildlife painter of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. He also drew some sequential picture stories, making him one of the early Swedish comic creators.
