Monika Simančíková is a Slovak former competitive figure skater. She is the 2012 Ondrej Nepela Memorial silver medalist and 2012 Slovak national champion. She qualified to the free skate at five ISU Championships, including the 2013 World Championships in London, Ontario, Canada.

Mikuláš Schneider-Trnavský KSG was a Slovak composer, conductor and pedagogue. He was popular mostly because of his songs, some becoming traditional.

John Dopyera Eslovaco. Fue el inventor del instrumento musical dobro. En 1929, junto con sus hermanos, fundó una empresa para su fabricación en serie llamada Dopyera Brothers, quedando abreviada como Do.Bros. Esta marca comercial que aparecía en el clavijero de los instrumentos, acabó por dar nombre al instrumento.

Charles Korvin nacido bajo el nombre de Géza Korvin Kárpáthy, fue un actor y productor de televisión húngaro. Se trasladó a los Estados Unidos en 1940, después de cursar sus estudios en la Sorbona. Korvin debutó en Broadway en 1943 con el nombre de Géza Korvin. Luego de firmar un contrato con la Universal Pictures, cambió su nombre a Charles Korvin. Su carrera en el mundo artístico fue constante durante la década de 1940, incluyendo tres películas en las que aparece con la actriz Merle Oberon.

Countess Antónia Zichy de Zich et Vásonkeő was a Hungarian noblewoman and wife of Lajos Batthyány who served as Prime Minister of Hungary during the Hungarian Revolution of 1848. They married on 4 December 1834.

Peter Dubovský, SJ, was a Slovak Auxiliary Bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Banská Bystrica from 1991 until his retirement in 1997. Dubovský was ordained as a Catholic priest on December 24, 1950 and clandestinely as bishop on May 18, 1961 by Dominik Kalata, because of the Communist Government of Czechoslovakia and the persecution of the Roman Catholic Church by the government. He died on April 10, 2008, at the age of 86.
