Hikaru Masai, who has gone by the stage names Hikaru and currently Helical, is a Japanese pop singer. She was one of the core members of the vocal group Kalafina, which was started by Yuki Kajiura to perform anime television and film theme songs. She is from Toyama Prefecture. In 2007, she was selected to join Kalafina in an audition held by Sony Music Japan, and debuted on their second single "Sprinter" in 2008. During her ten years there, Kalafina released five studio albums and two compilation albums, all of which have charted in the Oricon top 10. Her Kalafina profile describes her voice range as the mid-to-high register, a wide range that is "powerful, stylish, and sharp". Following the resignation of music composer Yuki Kajiura from Space Craft, Hikaru would later leave the label on October 20, 2018, after her contract expired.

Takakazu Ishii is a Japanese politician and the current governor of Toyama Prefecture in Japan, first elected in 2004. A native of Toyama, Toyama and a graduate of the University of Tokyo, he worked in the Ministry of Home Affairs from 1969 before being elected governor.

He is also president of Japan Wrestling Federation and vice president of the International Federation of Associated Wrestling (FILA). He served as chef de mission for the Japanese teams at the 2008 Summer Olympics and 2005 East Asian Games.

Kenya Yasuda is a water polo player from Japan. He appeared in the Japanese Reality TV series Terrace House: Boys × Girls Next Door (2012), episodes 75 - 98 which depicts his water polo training and in which he expresses his dream to one day represent Japan in the Olympics. He makes a cameo appearance in the Japanese movie Terrace House: Closing Door (2015) in which he outlines the necessary steps he and his team must take to qualify for entry to the 2016 Rio Olympics. He was part of the Japanese team at the 2016 Summer Olympics, where the team was eliminated in the group stage.

Kazuya Tabata is a retired Japanese professional baseball pitcher. He made his Nippon Professional Baseball debut in 1993 for the Fukuoka Daiei Hawks. Tabata later played for the Yakult Swallows, Osaka Kintetsu Buffaloes and Yomiuri Giants.
