‘Abd al-Rahmān ibn Mu‘awiya ibn Hisham ibn al-Malik o ‘Abd al-Rahmān I, conocido como Abderramán I o ‘Abd al-Rahmān I al-Dājil fue un príncipe de la dinastía omeya que, en el año 756, tras diversas vicisitudes, se convirtió en el primer emir independiente de Córdoba, fundando allí la dinastía Umawi. Reinó durante treinta y dos años, dedicado fundamentalmente a aplastar las revueltas del anterior señor del territorio, de los partidarios de los abasíes y de algunos grupos bereberes.

Burhan Asaf Belge is the father of prominent Turkish intellectual Murat Belge and the first husband of actress Zsa Zsa Gabor, who he met in Hungary while serving as Ambassador of Turkey to Budapest. Gabor was 18 years old when they married and they did not have any children together. He was also a brother-in-law of Yakup Kadri Karaosmanoğlu.
