Mostafa Sid Ahmed
Mostafa Sid Ahmed Almagbul, also spelled Mustafa Sid Ahmad, was a popular Sudanese singer and composer from the late 1970s onwards until his death in 1996. During his lifetime, he released more than a hundred songs. According to an article published during the Sudanese revolution of 2018/19, he was remembered "for performing a selective and expressive type of lyric that touches upon the causes of ordinary and deprived people."

Aisha Musa el-Said
Aisha Musa el-Said es una traductora y activista por los derechos de las mujeres de Sudán. Hashim al-Atta
Major Hashem al-Atta was a Sudanese political and military figure. Whilst he initially served in the National Revolutionary Command Council under Nimeiry, he is best known for his involvement in the 1971 coup d'état attempt, in which he, and other pro-communist members of the Sudanese Armed Forces attempted to overthrow Nimeiry and seize power. Initially successful, after several days the Revolutionary Government collapsed when Nimeiry was freed by loyalist military units. Following the failed coup attempt Atta and the other ringleaders were executed.
Mohammed Abed Elhai
Mohammed Abdul-Hayy was a member of the first generation of post-colonial Sudanese writers and academics. Together with Ali El-Mak and Salah Ahmed Ibrahim, he is regarded as a pioneer of modern poetry in Sudan.
