Attila Végh
Attila Végh is a Slovak mixed martial artist who competed in the Light Heavyweight divisions of Bellator Fighting Championships and Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki (KSW). He won the Bellator 2012 Summer Series Light Heavyweight Tournament and then the Bellator Light Heavyweight Championship. After losing it in his first defense, he was released from the promotion. A professional competitor since 2008, he has also competed for M-1 Global.

Marián Gáborík
Marián Gáborík is a Slovak professional ice hockey right winger currently under contract with the Tampa Bay Lightning of the National Hockey League (NHL). He began his playing career in the Slovak Extraliga with Dukla Trenčín for two seasons before being drafted third overall in the 2000 NHL Entry Draft by the Minnesota Wild, becoming the highest drafted Slovak player in NHL history. Spending eight seasons with the Wild before signing with the New York Rangers in 2009, Gáborík is the Wild's all-time leading goal scorer. He has also played for the Columbus Blue Jackets and Los Angeles Kings. On 13 June 2014, Gáborík won his first Stanley Cup while playing for the Kings.

Emília Vášáryová, Doctor Artis Dramaticae (hon.) is a Slovak stage and screen actress, referred to as the "First Lady of Slovak Theater". During her over five decades long career, she has received numerous awards including the Meritorious Artist (1978), Alfréd Radok Award (1996), Czech Lion Award Golden Goblet Award (2008), and most recently the honorary degree Doctor Artis Dramaticae Honoris Causa (2010) as the only female to date, and ELSA (2010). While her sister is former diplomat Magdaléna Vášáryová, Czech media regards her as an "Honorary Consul of Czech and Slovak Relations".

Ernest Nagel
Ernest Nagel fue un filósofo estadounidense de origen checo, uno de los teóricos más importantes de Filosofía de la ciencia de su tiempo. Se licenció en Ciencias en la City College de Nueva York y obtuvo el doctorado en la Universidad de Columbia, de la que después sería profesor. Su obra fundamental es La estructura de la ciencia. Nagel fue el primero en formular que posicionando analíticamente las equivalencias entre los términos de diferentes ciencias, uno podría eliminar todos los compromisos ontológicos, excepto los estrictamente necesarios de cada ciencia. Se proponía así analizar la lógica de la investigación científica y la estructura lógica de sus productos intelectuales.
