Palwasha Bashir
Palwasha Bashir is a badminton player, born in Karachi, Pakistan. Bashir was crowned as the National Champion in 2009, winning the women's singles and doubles titles. Palwasha has been representing Pakistan for several years in different International competitions. Initially rising as a star on a national level by winning back-to-back national titles. She won the bronze medal at the 2010 South Asian Games held in Dhaka. This achievement led her to a greater fame and acknowledgement in Pakistan. Bashir has represented her country at the 2014 Asian Games, 2014 and 2018 Commonwealth Games. She has been coached by Raziuddin Ahmad. Palwasha wins the title of National Champion Doubles Ladies 2021 against Mahoor Shahzad and Ghazala Siddique in the final.

Max John Rodrigues
Max John Rodrigues was born in Karachi, Pakistan, on 29 May 1938. He entered the seminary in 1957 and spent seven years of his priestly formation at the Pontifical Urban University in Rome. He was ordained a priest by Pope Paul VI at St. Peter's Basilica on 6 January 1966. Among his many appointments was serving as Assistant Parish Priest at Saint Francis of Assisi Parish, Karachi and Principal of St Paul's High School from 1984 to 2000. On 3 December 1999 he was appointed Bishop of Hyderabad by Pope John Paul II, and consecrated on 25 March 2000 by Archbishop Simeon Anthony Pereira of Karachi in the presence of the papal nuncio to Pakistan. An apostolic letter from Pope John Paul II was read before the ordination.
