Gao Zhisheng
Gao Zhisheng (高智晟) es un reconocido abogado que defiende los derechos humanos en China. Sin noticias de su paradero desde febrero de 2009 hasta marzo de 2010, detenido en la prisión de Shaya en el Xinjiang, el 7 de agosto de 2014 fue puesto de nuevo bajo un estricto arresto domiciliario, con síntomas de malnutrición y pérdida de varios dientes. En agosto de 2017 desapareció una vez más y desde entonces está en paradero desconocido.

Zhang Xianzhong
Zhang Xianzhong, nicknamed Yellow Tiger, was a leader of a peasant revolt from Yan'an, Shaanxi Province. He conquered Sichuan in 1644, and named himself king and later emperor of the Xi dynasty. His rule in Sichuan was brief, and he was killed by the invading Qing army. He is commonly associated with the massacres in Sichuan that depopulated the region. However, the extent of his killings is disputed.
