Modesta Vžesniauskaitė is a female road racing cyclist from Lithuania, who represented her nation at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. She competed in the women's road race, and completed the run in twenty-seventh place, with a time of 3:33:17.
Joseph Harmatz
Joseph Harmatz was a Lithuanian-born Jew who fought as a partisan fighter during World War II. After the war, he joined Nakam and plotted acts of revenge that were aimed at killing Nazis to avenge Jewish deaths during the Holocaust. After emigrating to Israel, he headed World ORT, a Jewish non-profit organization that promotes education and training in communities around the world.
Antanas Impulevičius
Antanas Impulevičius-Impulėnas was an officer of the Lithuanian Army, reaching the rank of major in 1937, and later a Nazi collaborator. After the occupation of Lithuania by the Soviet Union, he was arrested by NKVD. He was freed during the Uprising of June 1941. Impulevičius joined the Lithuanian Schutzmannschaft and commanded the 12th Police Battalion. His unit was sent to Belarus where it participated in mass executions of the Jews, particularly in Minsk and Kletsk. He also joined the short-lived Lithuanian Territorial Defense Force. In 1944, he moved to Germany, in 1949 he relocated to the United States. In 1962, Supreme Court of the Lithuanian SSR sentenced him to death in absentia. After the trial, United States dismissed Soviet request to extradite him.

Laima Zilporytė is a retired female cyclist, who trained at Dynamo sports society in Panevėžys and represented the USSR at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. There she won the bronze medal in the women's individual road race, after being defeated in the sprint by the Netherlands' Monique Knol and West Germany's Jutta Niehaus.
