Bat-Ochirin Eldev-Ochir
Bat-Ochiryn Eldev-Ochir was a prominent political figure in early years of the Mongolian People's Republic who, between 1928 and 1937, was one of three secretaries of the Central Committee of the Mongolian People's Revolutionary Party (MPRP). He served as the party's First Secretary from 1929 to 1930 and again for a month in 1932. As party leader, Eldev-Ochir pushed for rapid implementation of socialist policies during the “Leftist” period of the early 1930s, led the persecution of institutional Buddhism in Mongolia, and backed Soviet-sponsored purges of counterrevolutionary elements, particularly Buryat-Mongols, during the Lkhümbe affair in 1934-1935. He died in 1937 after being injured in a car accident.

He reached the jūryō division in January 2013 and the top makuuchi division a year after that. His highest rank has been maegashira 9. Following a long-term injury layoff he fell off the banzuke or ranking sheets in 2021.

Hakuba Takeshi is a former sumo wrestler from Ulan Bator, Mongolia. Joining the professional sport in 2000, he entered the top division for the first time in 2008, returning in 2010. His highest rank was komusubi. He was forced to retire from sumo in 2011 after being found guilty by the Japan Sumo Association (JSA) of involvement in match-fixing.

After a decade of competing in the lower ranks of sumo he reached the top division for the first time in 2015. His highest rank was maegashira 14. He wrestled for Shikoroyama stable.
